2009 Tournament

This year marked the 5th anniversary of our popular API Delta Chapter family clay tournament.  Despite challenging industry conditions we had great support from our sponsors, shooters, and volunteers.  Over 40 teams participated on a great weather weekend at Covey Rise Lodge in Husser, LA.  API Delta Chapter was very pleased to offer a fun and safe event for our industry families.  This year’s API Chairman, Ken Meyers, summed it up this way, "As always, it was rewarding to see parents and their kids spend quality time together while amicably competing with friends and colleagues." read more

2008 Tournament

The 4th Annual Father-Son & Family Sporting Clays Tournament Sponsored by API Delta Chapter of New Orleans hosted over 6oo participants and guests on April 26th.  The event was held in the traditional setting of Covey Rise Lodge in Husser, LA.  “This year’s event has doubled in size since we started sponsoring the event four years ago”, said Jan Catalano, Delta Chapter Chairperson.”  “Given the enormous support from the oil & gas community for this event it seems only fitting that we propose increasing the number of scholarships in 2009” she said.  read more

Geo-Science based Monitoring of Flood Protection Levees:
See attached presentation on the Levee failure prevention project. The updated work was presented to Chalmette city commission. Without API Delta support this project would not have taken off the ground as fast. Note the last slide regarding goals for the coming year
