INSPECTOR TRAINEE

JOB TITLE:	INSPECTOR TRAINEE
JOB DESCRIPTION:	Work in field crews of pipe inspection units. Help move pipe, clean threads, and inspect for defects with electronic instruments.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:	High School education required. Electronics helpful.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:	Physically fit and able to handle pipe moving. Must be able to pass physical examination. Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES:	Rapid promotion for performers.
SALARY RANGE:	$800.00 up monthly
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:	Work either in Harvey or Morgan City areas. Companies look for people who want a future in pipe inspection. All managers have started in field crews.

Geo-Science based Monitoring of Flood Protection Levees:
See attached presentation on the Levee failure prevention project. The updated work was presented to Chalmette city commission. Without API Delta support this project would not have taken off the ground as fast. Note the last slide regarding goals for the coming year
