Data Processing Clerk

JOB TITLE:	DATA PROCESSING CLERK
JOB DESCRIPTION:	Under close supervision, develop the ability to operate data processing equipment to process field recorded tapes. Assist in hardware maintenance, receiving of customer data, shipment of processed information and production of geophic displays.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:	High School education required
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:	Sound knowledge of basic mathematical principles with emphasis in algebra.
ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES:	Log Data Processor, Head Print Clerk, Log Data Technician.
SALARY RANGE:	$850.00 up monthly

Geo-Science based Monitoring of Flood Protection Levees:
See attached presentation on the Levee failure prevention project. The updated work was presented to Chalmette city commission. Without API Delta support this project would not have taken off the ground as fast. Note the last slide regarding goals for the coming year
