Dispatcher

JOB TITLE:	DISPATCHER
JOB DESCRIPTION:	Answers telephone and radio (taking orders and ordering transportation responsible for getting materials delivered as required by customers; processes all paper work, stand 24 hr. on-call duty (7 days a week). On alternating weeks; responsible for yard laborers, distribution of all yard work, training all yard hands, etc.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:	High School education required. One year warehouse experience preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:	Basic math aptitude.
ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES:	Warehouse Manager, Area Distribution Supt., Assistant Area Distribution Manager.
SALARY RANGE:	$8.00/hr. up
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:	Some companies provide company vehicle, bonus program, insurance benefits, paid vacations, etc. On-the-job training is available.

Geo-Science based Monitoring of Flood Protection Levees:
See attached presentation on the Levee failure prevention project. The updated work was presented to Chalmette city commission. Without API Delta support this project would not have taken off the ground as fast. Note the last slide regarding goals for the coming year
