| JOB TITLE: | TECHNICAL SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE |
| JOB DESCRIPTION: | In drilling services, determine properties of drilling muds and chemical additives. Make recommendations for additives. In production services, determine properties and compatibilities of production chemicals. Make chemical recommendations. For drilling & production equipment service companies, the TSR determines the applications which the equipment is intended to accomplish. Makes recommendations for proper equipment suited to the application. Troubleshoots problems. |
| EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: | College degree in petroleum related field. Company will provide specialized training. |
| ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: | Oil field experience is rated heavily in job selection. |
| ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES: | TSR's can advance to any position with company, depending on the individual's initiative. |
