PROCESS DESIGN ENGINEER

JOB TITLE:	PROCESS DESIGN ENGINEER
JOB DESCRIPTION:	The process design engineer will be involved in the design of production facilities for offshore and onshore platforms to process natural gas, oil, and water. The engineer will develop the design basis, design the process system, and select auxiliary mechanical equipment and systems.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:	Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering required for entry level position.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:	Knowledge of computer systems desirable.
ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES:	Engineering management promoted from within. Entry level may advance as consulting specialists or project supervisors.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:	In addition, will assist electrical engineers in the design of electrical distribution, fire protection, and safety systems on offshore drilling rigs and production platforms. Will work with construction engineers during fabrication and offshore installation of the structure.

Geo-Science based Monitoring of Flood Protection Levees:
See attached presentation on the Levee failure prevention project. The updated work was presented to Chalmette city commission. Without API Delta support this project would not have taken off the ground as fast. Note the last slide regarding goals for the coming year
