MUD ENGINEER TRAINEE (DRILLING FLUIDS)


JOB TITLE: MUD ENGINEER TRAINEE (DRILLING FLUIDS)
JOB DESCRIPTION: Testing and inspection of drilling fluids being used in drilling oil gas wells. The test are conducted with a portable laboratory and from the results of this evaluation the Engineer must recommend to the customer the proper treatment for maintaining or modifying the chemical and physical properties of the fluid.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 1st pref. College Degree/2nd pref. 2 yrs. College and 2 yrs. rig experience/ 3rd pref. Rig experience with a record of advancement.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:  
ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES: Four promotional opportunities in the field as a Mud Engineer and then the opportunity to advance into Sales, Technical Service or Operations.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
